The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) generates revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach in the development and retention of new and existing Waste Management Strategic Accounts. The SAM is responsible for developing new business while managing existing business relationships in order to achieve budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business, and securing contract agreements from previously non-contracted customers.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   Matches Waste Management services with customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers, pricing and competition; effectively communicates pricing and service strategies; proactively engages other Waste Management business opportunities, referring internally as appropriate. Acquires in-depth industry and company knowledge in order to prepare complex proposals and make recommendations. Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction for strategic accounts. This includes meeting customer retention goals. Communicates to and works with the Retention Manager to resolve unique customer issues. Details: The Regional Construction Manager is responsible for working with development, engineering, procurement, and construction activities necessary to develop, license/permit, erect, start-up, and commence commercial operation of between one and five energy project sites at any given time.    The Regional Construction Manager is actively involved in negotiations for the project and is responsible for the supervision of the site management teams.   Responsible for Owner's Site Management during project implementation phases on multiple energy projects. Responsible for working with design, procurement and construction contracts during project pre-construction phases.  Working with project managers, engineers and oversees construction site managers to ensure that project milestones are met safely, on schedule, and within budget. Works with meteorology and development on new project micro-sitings. Ensures sufficient project staffing of internal and external resources during construction phases. Provides periodic updates on project activities, progress and issues to company senior management. Ensures process feedback for identifying process efficiencies and improvements, including process and functional quality audits, and focusing on retention of "lessons learned". Ensures all relevant internal controls are followed and develops new controls as needed. Responsible for working closely with the safety director to ensure that sites are meeting Iberdrola's safety standards.
